Carried Away

One of my Centaur studies, this was the first time I tried applying the Zorse patterning to the Centaurs. It was intended as a Jungle scene just before a waterfall and pool of water, with a bright chestnut Zorse with mahogany striping and bright white feet. I intended to paint it in darker greens and soft blues with light purple sunset lighting reflected off the water... the whole idea was a cool color palate so that the bright warm colors of the subject matter stood out but not in any way that was too obvious. I never got arround to actually painting this one...
when my schedule frees up a bit and I feel inspired perhaps the muse will return to me and I will get back to it.

Obviously the whole idea was that I was being "Carried away" by this fantastic idea...
