More recent than most of my other things up here, this was done in 06.
The idea here was hair of flames and the girl dancing in the fire. The inspiration for it was James Warren's Pele Rising and an old modeling photo of me when I was blonde with this hair blowing all over the place, and the image left me with this impression I was having trouble describing... so instead of using words I busted out the pencil and started sketching it... it was a fun doodle because it was a challenging use of positive and negative space.
Competion time (if you can call it "completed"), aproximately an hour
